Belmont House office development

Aviva Investors wanted to create a welcoming reception for their new office development in Uxbridge, London. The building has floor to ceiling windows surrounding the spacious exterior and a large glass central atrium allowing lots of light in. In collaboration with the amazing artist Chris Wood, we created an artwork that emphasised the buildings bright and airy character by using dichroic glass to reflect and refract light rays into different colours. The angular nature of the artwork also echoes the architectural design of the building. The artwork is lit above and below by a set of spotlights. These alternate between one another and increase and decrease in brightness to produce different colours and levels of intensity.
